Tanita Tikaram has been grown up - and not to recognize.

Nor is the ABBA-song The Day Before You Came when Tanita and producer, musician, programmer and composer Marco Sabiu have treated it their way.

For many people Tanita is still the 18 years old pop sensation who sung Good Tradition and Twist In My Sobriety teen years ago. She has never managed to follow up the sales of the debut album which exceeded four million copies.

The Cappuccino Songs is actually her sixth album - and here she is a very mature and determined artist who has found her own style with elements of techno-pop (a la Madonna), ambient, new age and melancholy pop. The songs have a mysterious and dramatic touch, provoke by Tanita's particular voice and Sabius' piano, programmed sound and string arrangement.
